Charges are based on several factors. The date and time, the venue location, the duration, the types of equipment needed and transport costs.

We have electronic access to an extensive music collection of about 15 MILLION records covering a wide range of genres and across the decades right through to current date.

Yes, of course it goes without saying!
It is YOUR function and you should be able to hear the music YOU want to listen to (not just what a DJ might think you should be listening to!)
You may compile and submit a list of requests and dedications in advance if you wish by email.
We will also be very happy to take requests on the night from you and your guests. Once submitted, your completed requests list is given to your DJ in advance of the function, to help them prepare for your party.
Please ensure your completed requests are submitted to us at least one week before the date of your function.
We don’t limit the amount of requests you can submit, however as a guide, around twenty tracks per hour are normally played (the average length of a tune being around three minutes), so you may want to allow some time for your guests’ requests made on the night to be played.
Yes, free face-to-face consultations can be arranged to take place at your home, at a public place such as a cafe or preferably at the venue of the event.
I will arrange a time and place that is both suitable and convenient for you.
For most functions I allow an hour for setting up, I would also require approximately 4m x 2m of space. For larger functions additional time and space may be required.
Yes, I have a selection of lighting effects to create a party ambiance at your venue.
Details of the lighting equipment can be provided on request.
I normally dress to suit the occasion.
For weddings and formal events I wear a suit and for less formal events I wear smart/casual clothing as shown in the below pictures.

Yes, however I am not there to supervise the children.
It is the responsibility of the event organiser to look after the needs of the children.

Yes, my equipment is Portable Appliance Tested (PAT) in accordance with the Health & Safety Electricity at Work Act 1989.

When confirming an event, I ask for a 50% booking fee deposit to secure your date.
The remaining balance is due to be paid, in full, a minimum of 30 days prior to the event.
If you fail to cancel your booking before this date you will be charged the full booking fee.
This ruling may be waved in very extreme circumstances, or should I manage to fulfil the date prior to the booking date.
Yes, I always send an electronic confirmation, via e-mail, and a formal contract will be drawn up on receipt of booking payment.
With the exception of an act of God or natural disaster, your deposit is non-refundable.
The price quoted includes a DJ with professional sound equipment and effects lighting, suitable for the number of guests you have indicated.
Here at Roman J Entertainment, we only use quality professional software to deliver your music.
We use, Virtual DJ, Serato DJ and other popular DJ programmes, so we are sure to cater for your request.
